ABOUT US
Woodsparrow Fine Furniture & Design is a company focusing on solid woodworking for the home, including a variety of hand-crafted furniture and custom interior cabinetry, doors, and stairs.
Our furniture pieces include items such as tables, dressers, beds, and wardrobes. We also create detailed one-of-a-kind veneered boxes, such as tea and jewelry boxes. Each piece is custom made, marrying your ideas and wishes with character, thoughtfulness, and beauty. Do you have something already in mind? We can replicate pieces of furniture from photographs or reproduce a style of furniture already existing in your home. Choose from a variety of wood colours and grains, hardware, stains, and finishes.
Our interior elements, including cabinetry, counter tops, doors, stairs, and built-ins, are specifically designed to fit your home, ensuring your needs and wants are incorporated into each project. We take care of the technical requirements, create drawings for your approval, build in shop, and install on site. Throughout the process we work with you to design a custom piece that fits your space just right.
Woodsparrow Fine Furniture & Design is happy to integrate the beauty of fine woodworking and craftsmanship into your home!
Meet the Founder!
Woodsparrow Fine Furniture & Design, located within the beautiful 1000 Islands Region, is owned and operated by Kevin Juckers. Kevin established Woodsparrow in April 2013. During secondary school he developed a passion for woodworking, which led him to pursue post-secondary education in the field to hone his skill and technique. He graduated as an honours student from both Algonquin College’s Cabinetmaking and Furniture Technician Program in 2009 and Carpentry and Millwork – Heritage Program in 2011. He further expanded his skills by attending the “Studio Veneering Techniques” course with Adrian Ferrazzutti at Rosewood Studio. Kevin takes pride in his work, demonstrating his skill through the design and creation of quality traditional pieces.
From the founder, Kevin Juckers:
